Deposit

Booking Confirmation & Deposit Policy:

To secure your tattoo booking, a $200 deposit is required, assuring that both client and tattoo artist are committed to the tattoo. This fee reserves your time/date in our calendar and covers costs for admin, consultation, drawing & travel by the artist. The full deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo when your tattoo is completed.

Key points to note:

  1. Deposits are non-refundable, as per industry standard.
  2. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will automatically carry over to subsequent appointments.
  3. Deposits are non-transferable to other artists or clients but can be moved to another appointment (subject to forfeiture conditions, see below).

Forfeiture of deposits may occur under the following circumstances:

  • Arriving to your appointment intoxicated, sick, sunburnt, or without valid ID and cannot be tattooed.
  • Making major changes to the agreed-upon design without prior consultation, approval, and notice.
  • If more than 6 months pass without communication or attempts to schedule from you.
  • If more than 2 years lapse between sessions for large ongoing work before the tattoo is complete.
  • Cancellations and no-shows will automatically forfeit the deposit without exceptions.

Rescheduling:

  • For base studio appointments clients must notify the artist via email at least 72 hours in advance to reschedule their appointment without forfeiting the deposit.
  • Please note that excessive rescheduling may necessitate a new deposit for future appointments.
  • In cases of genuine emergencies or illness, forfeiture will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • During travel and guesting periods, deposits cannot be transferred for reschedules for any reason due to the limited availability and logistics of working in different locations.

If anything changes or you start feeling unwell, please contact us as soon as possible. This allows the artist to make other arrangements to their schedule or line up another client who may be waiting to get tattooed. Your cooperation ensures a fair and smooth scheduling process for everyone involved.

If the artist is unable to perform the tattoo due to illness, injury, emergency, or travel complication, the client will be notified as soon as possible and the appointment and deposit will be rescheduled to the earliest mutually convenient time. If this occurs during a guest spot and the artist cannot fulfill the appointment in a reasonable timeframe or distance, the client will receive a full refund of their deposit.
